Rough Terrain Mower
The Merry Rough Terrain Mower is designed and built for extra heavy duty mowing. It goes where tractors can’t and mows down head-high grass and weeds, dense thickets of brush, and even small trees and saplings that are up to one and a half inches thick. It features a 26” wide pivoting cutter deck that protects the mower and keeps both wheels on the ground when climbing over debris, a powerful drive transmission with four forward speeds plus reverse with a self adjusting chain tensioner, 18” x 6 1/2" puncture sealed lugged floatation tires and a locking differential for single or dual wheel drive. Our popular belt tensioner and easy deck replacement system allow you to change a drive belt or install the heavy duty 42" landscape deck in seconds with no tools required There is not a more powerful, versatile machine in the industry today.
The Rough Terrain Mower has a brush deck that pivots from side to side and follows the contour of the group to minimize scalping and improve traction on uneven ground.
The blade spindle is made of solid steel that is lathe-turned to 3/4" in diameter.
All controls can be engaged from operator position.
